Energy Performance Certificates (EPC)
IQS can undertake your Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs), these are required for most domestic properties marketed for sale or let.
Only accredited domestic energy assessors will be able to carry out assessments to produce Energy Performance Certificates.
What is an energy performance certificate (EPC)?
An EPC will tell you how energy efficient a home is, this is graded on a scale of A-G. Band A are the most efficient homes, these are the ones with the lowest energy fuel bills. The EPC will show how to improve the home’s energy efficiency which will save money and make for a greener home.
What are the benefits of having an EPC?
They indicate to a prospective buyer or tenant how energy efficient your home is. It should also provide information that may help to reduce the running cost of the property. This can also assist in renting out your property.
