Established in 1998 in North Manchester, IQS began with a commitment to serving the local business community. Our team of experienced chartered surveyors quickly built a reputation for providing expert advice and reliable service over the years, as such we have consistently grown and expanded our expertise.
Today, IQS is a leading provider of surveying services across much of the UK, supporting both residential and commercial clients.

Our People
Winston Taylor-Watson
Winston was the founding Director of IQS in 1998 and the business has continued to grow since this time; he focuses now on ensuring the business continues to deliver the clients expectations while working within the company’s professional management team. With over 30 years of experience within the industry Winston has worked on an extensive variety of construction and civil engineering projects ranging from £50,000 – £2.5billion. He is experienced in project management, dispute resolution and asset management as well as the more traditional QS roles. The company’s continued success is founded on Winston’s original business strategy of recruiting the best possible professional team who follow incessantly the IQS ethos of listening to and working closely with our clients to deliver all aspects of their project needs.
Lynsey Taylor-Watson
Lynsey has gained practical experience in the construction industry since 1996 coming from a background in Architecture and joined IQS as a Director in November 2000. Under her guidance and influence the young IQS company was able to flourish, grow and mature into the company it is today.
Richard Bruce
Richard has over 15 years of experience working within the construction industry as a qualified quantity surveyor. He has valuable knowledge on working within the utility sector and on both minor and major civil projects. He strives to ensure the team delivers to the highest standard for every client on every project.
